Broken Record of Primary School Charity Fair Donations with Great Passion of Parents

It was such a great success that the primary school raised 70,929 RMB in the charity fair held on 24th, Oct and broke the record of the donations we have ever raised so far! The big success is mainly due to the elaborate preparation and good organization, especially the participation of the parents with great enthusiasm.

Parents began their preparation of the charity fair as early as in September, some of whom made hand crafts with their kids, some went shopping in the small merchandise wholesale market in groups, others gathered together to discuss ways and means to make the charity fair better. On that day, more than 300 parents joined the charity fair. Grade 1 parents designed a game-exclusive area in which children could play shooting basket, table football, stacking cups, clipping marbles and archery. Besides the parents, kids also took an active part and found lots of pleasure in the charity fair. Grade 2 parents caught everyone’s eyes with specially-designed white T-shirt with a loving heart on. Parents of class 2(1) made a banner on which it wrote “Charity Fair for Long She Primary School in Guizhou Province” and parents of class 2(3) purchased goods and prepared for the charity fair in small groups well beforehand and they raised nearly 13,000 RMB with full attendance on that day.

After the charity fair, parents said that it was a pleasure to try their best to help those who are in need of help along with their children and it was also a good opportunity to set up a good example in front of their children. (By Primary School Of SHSID)
