The Graduation Ceremony for Class 2013

On June 10th, 2013, the graduation ceremony for Class of 2013 was held at the school auditorium. Since this year is the 20th anniversary of SHSID, the auditorium was specially decorated.

Attendants of this graduation ceremony were Principal FENG Zhigang, Vice Principal LI Ying,

Vice Chief Director LIU Lian, Vice Chief Director MA Feng and all other directors. Around 8 o'clock, guided by volunteers, parents entered the auditorium. The whole auditorium was full. The photos of Class 2013 and the video for 20th anniversary was published on the Screen. With Mr. MA's official announcement of the opening of the graduation ceremony, all the graduates, wearing the graduation gowns, came into the auditorium, surrounded by the applauds from all parents and teachers.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the school orchestra played "Pomp and Circumstance Marches" for everyone.

When the march was over, everyone saluted to the graduation the orchestra for their last performance in SHSID orchestra. And then they played a famous Chinese song "Jasmine Flower". Next, Principal Li delivered a speech to review all the achievements made by students from Class of 2013.

She also sent her best wishes to all graduates. Afterwards, students came onto the stage to be awarded the diploma by both Principals and Vice Chief Directors. Students were very excited and they also understood the meaning of this diploma --- they all grew up. Danielle Pi,

Louie Lam and Sophia Hsieh, student representatives, and Daniel Chan's father, delivered speeches to send their best wishes to all students. A wide range of awards were also announced at the graduation ceremony, including Awards for Excellence in Sports, Awards for Good Behaviour, Awards for Social Activities, Awards for Rapid Progress, Awards for Good Study and Awards for Excellent Study.

By the end of the graduation ceremony, Ellan Huang and Boris Yu on behalf of all students presented the school with a graduation gift.

The music, "I'll Remember You", was being played. All graduates stood up and sang the song to recall all their best memories at SHSID

and showed their gratitude to the teachers, parents, and their friends. With Mr MA's words of "Happy graduation! Good luck!", all graduation hats were being highly thrown.
