G11: Report of Visiting Ferrari Exhibition
G11: Report of Visiting Ferrari Exhibition
In the special afternoon of May 17th2013, over twenty students from SHS and SHSID had visited the Italian pavilion and the Ferrari exhibition room after a week of anticipation. During the visit, they not only learn the history of Ferrari but also the mechanics of the new gearbox and engines. Nevertheless, the exhibition of Italian tradition, postmodern design, and other features that distinguish it also inspired the interests of the students.
One of the students presented his opinion after the visit:
Supercar, a term that seems so far away from our life, now has become solid and true in the Ferrari exhibition room located at the Italian pavilion. Supercars built from cutting edge technologies such as Italia458
and FF were exhibited in addition to masterpieces such as Testarossa and 288GTO. What caught everyone’s eyeballs was a dynamic machine that simulates the driving experience of F1 racing car with the aid of the projectile that demonstrates the first person view of racer. By depicting what it is like in a F1 racing car, it grabbed our attention and stimulated our interest to racing and what embodies it—Ferrari.
In the end of the wonderful visiting, all students from SHS and SHSID received tickets of Ferrari Racing Day in addition to Ferrari T-shirts. With full appreciation to the organizer of the visit and stuffs in the pavilion, students from SHS and SHSID finished their trip.
