Pudong G1: Visit Fire Station

On Thursday, G1 kids paid a visit to the fire station nearby. When we got there, the firefighter introduced the water pipes to us first and showed how to use them. Kids also got the chance to hold them. Then, when kids saw the firefighter’ clothing, they rushed forward and could not wait to try it on. Seriously, they looked awesome! Right after that, the firefighter opened the door of a fire truck, which caught all the kids’ eye. Everyone wanted to get on the truck.

When we finished our tour on the first floor, we went upstairs and visited their dormitories. We were so surprised by what we saw: everything was so organized and put in order. Last but not least, the fire and rescue drill started. Our foreign teacher and three kids were trapped on the fourth floor and waited to be rescued. All the firefighters worked together and saved their lives with the help of the scaling ladder.

Everyone jumped for joy and ended our tour with great happiness.
