Sports Meet

On April.27th, Pudong campus held a big Sports Meet. G4 students made a beautiful poster one week ago. They decorated their boards and slogans. On that day, many parents came to school to join in this big event.

The first performance was from the school drum club. This group was made up of G4 students. They played drums and marched along the playground. The parents gave big applaud to their wonderful performance. Each class marched around the track. They shout out their slogans when they passed the parents area. Everybody looked nice and well-behaved. After that, G1 to G3 students played the fitness dance together. Then G4 and G5 students showed the Kong-fu to all the audience. The performance of the Rock Band Club came in the last. This is the first rock band in Pudong campus. They played the songYellow Submarine.A lot of students and parents were deeply impressed by the show. That’s a really wonderful opening ceremony for the sports meet.

After the speech given by the representative of the students, the real part of the Sports Meet began. The toughest item —— Relay Race started in the first. Two classrooms in G4 had an exciting match. The athletes played well and other students shouted for their teams. The second item was 50-meter dash. G4 athletes tried hard in the game which impressed all the other students. Other games such as Basketball Toss, Long Jump, Crossing River, Three-legged race and Golden friends started in the same. If a student finished one item, he or she could go to join another one.

Parents-involved activities were big highlights in the sports meet. Many parents took actively part in the games. They enjoyed the games with their children.

The sports meet this year turned out to be a big success.
