Science Carnival
Science Carnival
Right after the Qingming Festival break, there came the long-anticipated Grade 5&6 Science Carnival. Our students started to prepare for this carnival even two weeks before. Each class held two great games full of fun and science elements. Our students also made attracting posters for these fun games. All these posters in the lobby had been an incredible attraction in the past two weeks. At the CAS class of Apr. 5th, the students of grade 5 and 6 finally had their exciting Science Carnival.
In this carnival, we had a lot of games requiring not only outstanding witness, but also sound science knowledge, such as "Who's Eye is this?", "Space Trivia", "Super Thirteen" and "Nine Points on a Line". There were also some games as "Land Your Airplane", "Drop Egg", "The Magic Cube", "Real Angry Birds" and "The Coin Floating Forever", that need both brilliant head and crafty hand. The later games were more welcomed because we all knew that Science was actually the master of both our head and hands.
The students who took part in or passed the games got their special Science Carnival stamps. The more stamps they got the greater prize they would enjoy after the carnival. The biggest prizes this time were a remote-controlled truck and a helicopter. You can imagine how exciting the final winners were.
In the Science Carnival, the students enjoyed not only their wonderful games, but also the useful science knowledge and skills. The carnival is always one of the most welcomed activities in Grade 5&6.
