Important Notice

Dear Students and Parents,

According to the latest announcement from Shanghai Municipal Government on February 5th, due to the novel coronavirus control, all schools in Shanghai must remain closed for the rest of February, in order to protect the students. The exact date for reopening of schools will be announced at a later time by the government.

SHSID will strictly comply with the above regulations. We will inform you the detailed starting date once the Municipal Education Commission releases the announcement, so that students and teachers can have time to get well prepared.

Before the new semester starts, SHSID encourages students to make good time management, conduct some workouts and household chores at home, and keep in touch with homeroom teachers. The preparation for online teaching and learning is underway. SHSID will provide E-learning at a proper time to give effect to the policy of "continue teaching and learning when the school remains closed".

Now, it is a critical period for the disease control and prevention. We hope that every student and parent closely follow the directions and information released by the Shanghai Municipal Government.Please reduce outdoor activities to the minimum, maintain personal hygiene and hand hygiene, monitor your health conditions and report accurately to your homeroom teacher and your community as required. It’s a responsibility and an obligation for each resident to support the government for public safety and welfare. And the whole process will serve as a good form of life education.
