Notice on Winter Vacation and Safety Reminder
Dear students and parents,
Winter vacation for the 2023 academic year has already begun. The new semester is scheduled to start on February 19, 2024. (The final opening date is subject to the notification from the Municipal Education Commission.) Before the new semester begins, the details will be announced by the homeroom teachers in advance.
During the winter vacation, while taking a good rest, please also arrange your holiday study and life reasonably. Parents should also pay attention to students' safety awareness, mental health, physical exercise, eye health, etc., to promote students' comprehensive development. Let's work together to ensure that our students have a joyful and fulfilling holiday.
Holiday Warm Reminders
1 Safety Tips for Strengthening Influenza Protection
Winter is a high-risk season for influenza. Please pay attention to personal hygiene, wash hands frequently, wear masks, maintain indoor ventilation, and consider wearing masks when using public transportation, elevators, or entering enclosed spaces. If you experience flu symptoms, seek medical help promptly.
2 Safety Tips for Fire and Drowning Prevention
During the holiday, be cautious with fire and electricity usage, refrain from playing with fire, and strictly avoid unauthorized electrical connections. When going out, ensure all electrical devices are turned off to prevent fires. Additionally, avoid unfamiliar water areas to prevent drowning accidents.
3 Safety Tips for Travelling and Outdoor Activities
When traveling, adhere to traffic rules, avoid using phones while walking or cycling, and refrain from playing near roads or parked vehicle areas. If planning outdoor activities, research the destination's weather and transportation in advance, and prepare necessary items such as medicine and clothing. During outdoor activities, prioritize safety, adhere to the rules of the area, avoid climbing heights, and stay away from dangerous areas.
4 Safety Tips for Online Activities
Manage online time wisely, avoid excessive use of the Internet and electronic games, and refrain from playing violent or unhealthy games. Be cautious when making online friends, do not trust information from strangers, and avoid clicking on unfamiliar links or downloading unknown software. Protect personal information and refrain from disclosing it to strangers.
5 Safety Tips for Mental Health
Maintain a positive and optimistic mindset, communicate with teachers, parents, classmates, and friends. Face challenges with resilience and confidence.
During the winter vacation, if you need to contact relevant offices, please use the following email addresses or phone numbers on the specified dates:
Wishing you all a safe, healthy, and meaningful winter vacation. Enjoy your holiday!
