Bananaheads

Bananaheads

Bananaheads began in 2014 as a small group of friends baking to raise donations for charities. Now, it is a platform across all of high school, dedicated to spreading awareness about important social issues and finding innovative ways to create tangible change in our world. In recent years, Bananaheads has expanded its reach to not just student life, but also to the broader society. The club has partnered with many non-profit organizations in Shanghai and abroad to organize social service projects, including but not limited to a painting class volunteer program at Congquan Children's Smart Center, a book donation at Yunnan Elementary School, a charity concert at Shanghai Tinglin Home for the Elderly, and art exhibitions held with organizations advocating for the rights of autistic children. Through these programs, Bananaheads hope to inspire a spirit of philanthropy and to raise awareness, understanding, and concern for the communities around us.
