Furry Friends is a club that aims to promote the idea of #adoptdontshop and educate people on stray animals and how to become a responsible pet owner. Our activities outside school mainly include volunteering at adoption events and helping out at Shanghai Animal Rescue and Neko's Shelters. All the animals we come in contact with are fully vaccinated and safe for adoption! We hope through volunteering, we can find forever homes for these cats and dogs. Moreover, we have done our own mask selling donation event, in which our members made 4 designs to print on masks and we sold them. We made a total of 34,894 RMB. We not only advertised #adoptdontshop , but also introduced our original intention. Our total profit was 26,974 RMB and donated 13,699 of that to SAR to buy 2 tons of dog food and donated 8005RMB for hospital expenses.
