Puxi Campus G8: ASB Election Campaign

October 10, 2026

As the summer heat gradually subsided, the 8th-grade ASB election campaign at the Puxi Campus officially kicked off. On the afternoon of September 16, 8th-grade teachers and students came together to witness the candidates' determination and hard work, expressed through eloquent speeches, confident delivery, and sincere emotions.

On the eve of the election, colorful and creatively designed campaign posters were put up on the walls, immediately drawing many students to stop and take a look. Some students carefully read the candidate profiles, while others discussed campaign platforms, creating a lively atmosphere in anticipation of the upcoming election.

This contest is not merely a selection process; it is also a spectacular stage for eighth-grade students to showcase their confidence and demonstrate a sense of responsibility. Thirty-four candidates from 12 classes took the stage one by one. Each student, driven by a passion to serve the community, improve order, and bring joy, clearly articulated their strengths and goals in brief speeches, thoughtfully painting a beautiful picture of future campus life. Speaking from a student's perspective, they deeply reflected on the responsibilities and significance of student leadership roles and proposed a series of practical and feasible new plans and ideas focused on addressing weaknesses, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring fair elections.

The candidates showcased their unique strengths and brimmed with creativity. Some highlighted their personal strengths, recounting their interactions with teachers and classmates and sharing their hobbies; others, drawing on their rich experience, advocated for fostering cooperation among students and cultivating a positive class atmosphere. The candidates' speaking styles varied widely: some were lighthearted, humorous, and highly engaging; others were unconventional and improvised, striking a chord with the audience. The audience actively participated, filling the room with continuous applause and cheers, making the entire campaign event vibrant and energetic.

This ASB election fully demonstrated the eighth-grade students' proactive and dedicated spirit. Full of youthful vigor and a willingness to take on responsibility, the students will contribute to the development of our school through perseverance and action.
