History and Geography Department: Gunpowder Empires Project Interactive Presentation
On the morning of October 12, during the G11 AP Modern World History class, students participated in an interactive project sharing activity titled “Three Gunpowder Empires.” Based on the developments and achievements of various empires in areas such as politics and law, economy and trade, culture and the arts, and religion and philosophy, three groups of students designed a “Monopoly”-style board game about the Ottoman Empire, a jeopardy game about the Mughals, and a video game about the Safavid Empire, respectively. Building on their knowledge exploration, the students transformed their findings into game content and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of reinforcing what they had learned through these games.
