With Oars as Blades, Challenging the Limits — Sports Week Rowing Competition Kicks Off
As one of the series of events for this year's Sports Week, the rowing competition was successfully held from October 9 to 10 on the B1 floor of Zhongxing Building. This event provided a stage for high school students to showcase their physical fitness and willpower, highlighting the sports spirit of courageous striving through competition.

Before the competition officially began, participants took turns familiarizing themselves with the operation of the rowing machines, adjusting their breathing rhythm and physical condition, and meticulously refining their movement details, preparing to meet the challenge with full commitment. During the competition, members of the SHSID rowing team were present to support the event, providing detailed explanations of rowing techniques and key points of force application, and patiently assisting with equipment adjustment and correcting movement deviations, ensuring the contestants could perform steadily. As the race began, the contestants pulled the handles with force, the rhythmic sound of rowing rising and falling in succession, while cheers and shouts from the audience on the sidelines continued without pause, creating a heated and vibrant atmosphere.
Many teachers also actively joined the competition, competing alongside the students. The high-intensity contest continuously tested the contestants' physical stamina. On the course, both teachers and students gritted their teeth and rowed with all their might, going all out with unyielding perseverance and the belief in surpassing themselves, challenging their physical limits with each burst of effort and each moment of persistence, fully demonstrating the vigorous and upward-looking athletic spirit and tenacious fighting spirit of both teachers and students.

This event used rowing as a bond to unite the shared athletic enthusiasm of the school's teachers and students, and also served as a warm-up activity for the sports meet. Currently, the preliminary round has come to a successful conclusion, and the final will take place on October 15, the day of the sports meet, in the gym. The advancing contestants will strive for the ultimate honor. Let us look forward to even more outstanding performances from everyone!
