Grade 11: Back to School Parents' Meeting

On September 13, the Grade 11 Parents’ Meeting was successfully held at SHSID, with parents actively participating and showing great interest in their children's overall development.

Firstly, parents gathered at the Xianmian Annex Auditorium. Grade 11 head teacher Ms. Zhang Yueyue hosted the session. High School Principal Ma Feng delivered an important speech, providing a detailed overview of the school's academic standards, student development, faculty team, and college admission results. Emphasis was placed on the school's commitment to fostering comprehensive student growth and support. Following that, Assistant Principal of English Curriculum Adam Nicolich took the stage and introduced the well-designed English curriculum system at the school. Lastly, Vice Principal Zhang Li addressed the audience, focusing on introducing the college-related resources.

The second part of the meeting took place in classrooms. Parents proceeded to their respective classrooms and engaged in face-to-face discussions with the homeroom teachers. The teachers explained the detailed academic arrangements for Grade 11, the college application process, and the extracurricular activity arrangements. They also provided information on academic guidance and college counseling while addressing parents' inquiries.

SHSID aims to strengthen communication and collaboration between the school and parents through this parent-teacher meeting while jointly focusing on the holistic growth and development of students.
