Grade 8: ‘Voices from Beyond’ Charity Concert

On May 25th, the SHSID service learning group ‘Voices from Beyond’ held a charity concert in Minhang District. Radiant lights lit up an audience of nearly 200 people. More than 40 students from SHSID volunteered to perform and help with backstage work, including students from the string orchestra and the DNCR club. They presented the most stunning performances including spectacular dances and music with gorgeous melodies. These gifted performers left the audience with a memory of this unforgettable evening. This activity not only provided our students with the chance to perform in front of a large, unfamiliar crowd, but also taught them the importance of responsibility. They were awarded a feeling of satisfaction after such a flawless concert. This event raised 4066 RMB, which will be donated to charity.
