Puxi Grade 1: Cultural Parent Bazaar!

During Social Studies class on May 23rd, all the first graders listened to short speeches from six parents of six different countries. Every parent spent about twenty minutes introducing their country’s geography, history, traditional costume, food and other cultural symbols.

All the students were very interested. Many students were very eager to raise all different kinds of questions about each of the six countries. The teachers hope that this activity might motivate all the students to explore this enormous world in the future.
