Puxi Grade 4: Fun Games in PE class

Week 7 was Primary’s Section’s Sports Week. As part of this, the students have been playing some fun sporty games in PE class.

The first game was called Ships and Sailors. In this game, students had to respond quickly to their teacher’s directions. For example, if the teacher says ‘three people eating’, then students should form a group of three and pretend to eat. If teacher says ‘face the west’, all the students should face the west. The second game was called ‘Ball Passing’, in which students had to take turns to passing balls from above their heads and under their knees. The third game was called ‘Jump Across the River’. The teacher used two ropes to make a pretend river. The students were asked to jump across the river. The teacher would gradually widen the river to make the game harder.

The fourth graders really enjoyed these games. We hope that they can strike a balance between study and sports and enjoy their life in SHSID!
