Grade 10: Assembly - Experience of MUN
On the morning of March 6, the students of Grade 10 gathered in the Lecture Hall for the weekly assembly. As usual, Ms. Yu started off the event with notices of upcoming PA lectures and activities, such as an interesting debate. The debate, she introduced, touched on the topic of course selection, which would be beneficial for the sophomores. They would be able to listen to the topic from different angles and perspectives and learn more about the significance of both their interests and talents when deciding on their courses.
After the preliminary notices, Ms. Yu then gave the stage to students Sophia from class 5 and Chelsea from class 10 to share their story during the IAA, which had taken place in Boston. They narrated their journey during the experience, sharing memories, gains, and reflections on the competition. It wasn’t only the awards that mattered, they said, but also the friends, food, and fun that interspersed with the IAA that made the trip all the more valuable.
