All Booked

All Booked is a club dedicated to creating a book-sharing platform for primary school students. Through our activities, the club aim to make reading more eco-friendly, cost-effective, and, most importantly, to foster a reading culture both inside and outside Shanghai High School International Division. Since the club's founding in 2022, All Booked has launched the Reading Box Project for primary school students. The Reading Box is an eco-friendly paper box placed in each classroom that contains students' favorite books. On the back of each book, there is a small “secret” that each owner wants the next reader to know. This simple yet clever idea has made the Reading Box extremely popular among primary students, turning it into their go-to library.


Over the years, this popularity allowed the club to expand to primary schools in cities outside of Shanghai, such as Hangzhou Shi Shi English School. In total, the club collected over 800 books, received over 2000 borrows, and involved over 1000 students. Additionally, All Booked hosted various other creative activities like book salons, letter exchanges, and many lectures to help primary students develop a healthy reading habit earlier on. In the future, All Booked will continue its journey, using small actions to empower larger changes in the community.
