Grade 11: Junior Project Interim Report Exhibition
On the afternoon of January 3, 2024, Grade 11 students of SHSID gathered at XM Auditorium to showcase their junior project progress for the past few months. Students were excited to present and to listen to each other’s presentations as they entered the auditorium.
There were 30 groups in total, and each group had one minute to present everything they wanted to share. The hosts called each group up in order while the next group prepared off-stage. Students either went up the stage as a group or chose a representative. They talked about their work division for this project, visions, and plans for the upcoming semester. Every group also shared their uniquely designed posters to the grade. Some of the project topics included aiding disabled communities, reviving Shanghainese, and assisting the elders in our communities. After the showcase, every student was required to vote for their favorite 10 groups. In the following time, the students went to different classrooms to discuss the next stage of the project plan with their mentors and group members.
This was a great experience for every 11th grader. Let’s look forward to their development and progress with their junior projects next semester!
