Puxi Campus G8 | YD Class:Managing Interpersonal Conflicts and Preparing for Exams in a Reasonable Manner.
Grade 8 students learned the crucial skills of conflict resolution and review strategy during their YD class in December.
At the beginning of the class, several students rehearsed a short play on the subject, which brought up an interest on the topic and created a resonance of interpersonal conflicts among the students in addition to laughter. Then, the teacher encouraged everyone to share collaborative challenges they had encountered in their group projects, sharing their solution. After a lively discussion, the teacher proposed a four-step interpersonal conflict regulation method: understanding the situation, discovering the conflict, realizing the seriousness, and thinking of the solution. By analyzing various life examples, the students skillfully applied the abstract four-step method in practice.
In the following period, the students learned review methods for the upcoming final exam. First of all, the students watched videos recorded by the outstanding student representatives in the grade and learned from the experience shared by the "top students." After learning the importance of reviewing, students drew up their own set of review schedules to prepare and make reasonable plans for their review time before the exam.
The YD class has provided practical guidance to students in managing interpersonal conflicts and preparing for exams. We believe that the students will be inspired to apply what they have learned in their next life and study.
