G3 | Lin'gang Campus: Classroom Spelling Competition Makes Learning Fun
On December 19th, students in Lingang Grade 2 started a spelling competiation in the classroom. The competition not only practiced students' thinking skills, but also strengthened their teamwork and competitive spirit.
The rules of the spelling competition were not complicated, as each member of a group had to find different parts of a Chinese character and work together to spell out a Chinese character. The students had to write the characters on A3 posters and the team with the most characters won. Some students focused on the character for three dots of water, holding the card for three dots of water and trying to match it with other characters; some had accumulated a lot of Chinese characters and were able to match them quickly, saying "It's the character 活"; and some were the best record-keepers, lying on the ground and concentrating on recording the Chinese characters; others are excitedly counting the number of Chinese characters and shouting:"We have 40 characters! "... With the ringing of the bell, the students reluctantly handed in their papers, which were covered with dense Chinese characters, and even the reverse side of some groups was filled with them. In the end, Dog's group won the competition with 78 Chinese characters. Student James H said, "This game was really fun and my teammates and I enjoyed it. Through this game, we not only reviewed what we learned in class, but also practiced our cooperation skills. I think this type of game is very suitable for use in the classroom."
"Find a friend" spelling game not only reviews the knowledge in the classroom, but also stimulates the students' interest in learning, and achieves learning through playing! This is our Chinese class, interesting and meaningful!
