2023 SHSID Science and Innovation Forum Held Successfully

On Nov. 22 and 23, the 2023 SHSID Science and Innovation Forum was held in Zhentao Building, which aims to help students improve their projects and enhance their research skills through the guidance of the high school academic mentor group. The high school academic mentor group was setup for the lifelong development of students. The mentors with expertise in various academic fields can advise each student on his or her academic research according to one's talents and research interests. This forum served as the platform to showcase their achievements.

The participating students had a wide range of interests and showed their insights in the STEM subjects, which covered a variety of areas including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer, etc. In front of the peers, academic mentors and STEM coordinators, they presented their research projects confidently. They were logical and creative, imaginative while also down-to-earth. After the presentations and Q&A session, the mentors provided the students with several suggestions to refine their projects and encouraged them to dig deeper.

The Science and Innovation Forum is one of the platforms SHSID has setup for students to showcase their scientific research and exchange ideas. We hope that more students can be a part of it and keep growing through academic communication.
