Grade 9 Assembly: An Introduction to Astronomy Club

At the 9th grade assembly on November 14, David from grade 10 introduced the unique and inspiring astronomy club.

Majority of the 9th grade students have never been exposed to the field of astronomy, leading to the fact where, whenever they see pictures taken of the universe, they only tend to admire its splendor and the beauty of it. David explained that on top of that, astronomy combines both knowledge in mathematics and physics, allowing one to understand and comprehend the mysteries of the universe meticulously. David also introduced topics the astronomy club had studied in the past, including magnetars, nebulae, cosmic microwaves, and celestial movements. The usually seemingly distant and complex concepts can all be touched upon here. After listening to a variety of novels and profound vocabularies introduced by David, thought-provoking explanations and the impressions of astronomy have deepened a lot in the hearts of students.

When do we not roam in the universe of knowledge, and when do the starry sky not emit a dazzling shine? This saying demonstrates how Grade 9 is a magnificent year for personal development and the search for new talents. We hope that this brief introduction will develop a new interest and path for 9th grade students.
