Academic Competition | Awards of the 2023 Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad
The results of the Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad (AIMO) were released in October 2023, and students from our school achieved excellent results.
The Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad (AIMO) is organized by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AM). The competition is of considerable difficulty, where students are required to solve 10 challenging problems within four hours without the use of a calculator, serving as a rigorous assessment of students' mathematical abilities.
The awards for the Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad (AIMO) are set as follows: Prize, High Distinction, Distinction, and Credit. In this competition, our participating students received 5 High Distinction awards, 4 Distinction awards and 4 Credit awards . They are:
