G6 The New League of ASB Elections
SHSID Grade 6 started the new ASB Elections as the new semester began. But what is ASB? ASB (Associate Student Board) is a student representative elected by students to help teachers organize various activities and provide good service to students.
How to Run for ASB?
Every student can run for ASB. Candidates must prepare a poster with their personal information and reasons why they should be the ASB this time. Simultaneously, candidates need to write a 2 to 3-minute speech explaining why they should be the ASB and create a PPT presentation to accompany the speech, demonstrating their ideas. Three candidates will be elected from each class in the grade-wide election.
Why Sign Up for ASB?
ASB connects students and teachers and holds great importance. ASBs can organize various activities to enrich their classmates' school experience. Being an ASB can help improve thinking, creativity, explanation, and leadership abilities. Assisting other classmates can also help enhance personal skills.
The new league of ASBs can inject more energy and delight into the new middle school life!
