G2 | Lin'gang Campus: Birthday Bakery Project—Happy Vacation Work
Summer vacation has just passed, and the second graders have stepped onto the new campus. What happened to them over the holiday? Did they grow taller? Did they lose their teeth? Let's find the answers from their homework!
Chinese: Birthday Handbook with Love
A lot has happened in the lives of the students over the years, as they've gone from newborn babies to healthy children, so the tiny handbook is filled with photos. They use photos to record their special moments. Some record their whole family photos, and some record their annual birthday. The most impressive thing is the gift which filled with the family’s and friends' love.
The second graders who bathe in love also passed the happiness to their family by recording their family's birthdays. 2-2 James H said, "I couldn't write when I was one, but I secretly learned and wrote the word "mom" and gave it to her. She was very touched." Now they are planning the next birthday in their family with a big cake, elaborate greeting cards and invitations to their friends...
Math: My Bakery Project
The children opened up a bakery! Look, there's a wide range of food in the bakery: ice cream with rainbow frosting, bamboo milk tea with little crowns, and cookies with coffee beans ... Four customers are coming to the store, taking money to buy the tasty food and waiting for the little masters to do the arithmetic. The little masters are trying to figure out whether or not to ask for change! The second grade's knowledge of money was skillfully integrated into the bakery project in a fun and educational way. Children were all excited with smiles on their faces.
The birthday handbook and the bakery project not only show the growth of children but also show the essence of knowledge. In the new semester, let's hope the second graders continue to move forward happily!
