G3|Lin'gang Campus: Colorful Homework, Colorful Summer
G3|Lin’gang Campus: Colorful Homework, Colorful Summer
As we bid farewell to the long summer vacation, the new school year came. The colorful holiday homework displays in the corridors of the third grade area have added a new atmosphere and brought hope to the brand new campus.
Chinese — The Beauty of Shanghai in My Eyes
"What is the beauty of Shanghai in your eyes?" The video presentations of the Chinese homework allowed the children to really delve into the beauties and complexities of Shanghai. They could depict their happy childhoods in the city with words and stories. Combining their own experiences and reflections, they acted as little tour guides. Some walked through the alleys where their parents played when they were young, some tasted Shanghai food with thick oil and sauce, some walked with their families under the sycamore trees, and others marveled at the landmarks along the Huangpu River to feel the speed and warmth of Shanghai. The three-minute videos fully showed how vibrant and unique Shanghai is in the eyes of the children.
Math — The Most Precious 24 Hours of Summer
"Let's see what you did?" The third graders used words and paintbrushes to record the most memorable day of their vacations. 3-1 Anna introduced the highlights of a day trip in Wuhan to us. She experienced the "early morning breakfast" culture, visited the Hubei Museum, climbed the Yellow Crane Tower, and strolled along the Yangtze River Bridge. The 24 hours she spent with her family in Wuhan are memories she will never forget. In every vacation assignment, the children put what they have learned about time into practice, in which math is silently integrated into every scenario of life.
Colorful homework, colorful holidays. We hope that the third graders will keep up the good work and continue to learn from playing and learning in the new semester, while continuing to reap the rewards, injecting more excitement and energy into their growth!
