High School Chemistry Teachers Led Students to Explore Chemistry in Life
Have you ever wondered how a self-heating hot pot can heat food without fire? Or whether the principle of heating is the same between self-heating hot pots and heating pads?
These seemingly simple but interesting questions reflect all aspects of chemistry in life. Chemistry is the study of matter and its changes, and it is all around us. From the food we eat, to the clothes we wear, to the air we breathe, chemistry is essential to our existence. The high school chemistry teachers are committed to leading students to learn chemistry through exploring life. By understanding the basic principles of chemistry, students can better understand the world around them and solve problems in their everyday lives.
Through learning and exploring, the students saw that self-heating hot pots use a chemical reaction to generate heat. When water is added to the hot pot, it reacts with the chemicals in the pot, releasing heat. This heat then cooks the food in the pot. Heating pads also use a chemical reaction to generate heat. The chemicals in the heating pad react when they are exposed to air. This heat then warms the area around the heating pad.
These are just a few examples of how chemistry can be learned through everyday life experience. By learning more about chemistry, students can better understand the world around us. Science is endless, as it is an eternal mystery. Let's explore chemistry together in life.
