Lin’gang Campus G2: Warm-up Activity for Children's Day
Children's Day is approaching. In order to get all children ready for it and double their happiness, the second grade of Lin’gang Campus staged a joyful outdoor tug of war during their personal growth class on May 26.
There were four tug-of-war matches, namely, girls V.s. girls, boys V.s. boys, class V.s. class and teachers V.s. students. First of all, girls from two classes quickly took their positions, and once the whistle sounded, the girls were vigorously pulling the long rope. The scene was sometimes stagnant and sometimes intense, which instantly ignited the fighting spirit of the other students. Then, the boys produced another wonderful contest . Although the two sides looked relatively different in appearance and physical strength, they were all trying their very best in the tug-of-war field.
The tug-of-war reached its climax with the class competition. Each child twisted and clutched the thick rope with great force, and did not dare to relax for a moment. The final match between the students and teachers was a surprisingly exciting event that filled the atmosphere with lots of cheering again. The students united together and were so strong that they beat the teachers twice within just 5 minutes. Applause and cheers were heard on the field as the children cheered and shared the joy of success.
After the activity, the students were not exhausted by the intense physical practice, but they were all excited and expressed their love for this game. The teachers hope to use this activity to warm up for Children's Day and add a different style to this special day for all kids!
