Grade 11 CAS: Junior Project Preparation

On the afternoon of May 10, each class of Grade 11 prepared for the upcoming Junior Project presentations. The students in groups went to different classrooms to produce PPTs and posters for their presentations. In each classroom, a teacher was assigned to answer students’ questions and provide advice.

The Junior Project is an activity designed for the personal growth of 11th-grade students. It requires 11th-grade students to work in groups to improve Shanghai's living standards based on their own abilities and perspectives. By each taking responsibility for a subject, students exchange knowledge across disciplines and make practical contributions to their community.

The short duration of two classes made the students more experienced in cooperative activities. While gaining team communication skills, they also mastered the precious ability to convert subject knowledge into contributions to community. It is expected that, in a few weeks, each group will be able to present their ingenious projects.
