High School Physics Department: Laboratory Recording and Broadcasting Equipment Assist Physics Teaching

On the afternoon of March 13, the teachers of the SHSID Physics department came to the Yifu Building laboratory to learn how to use the new recording and broadcasting equipment. Mr. Xu Zhencheng, the department head, and Mr. Liu Yifeng, the laboratory teacher, arranged the site in advance and demonstrated how to record high-quality experimental teaching videos by taking an oscilloscope and waveform generator as examples. After debugging, the teachers found that the experimental videos shot with the new equipment had a strong sense of hierarchy, which could show the experimental process and phenomena more clearly from multiple angles.

High-quality experimental teaching videos can teach students how to safely use the relevant experimental instruments in advance and also enable students to review and consolidate after class, which provides an important reference for writing lab reports. The newly added equipment also alleviates the shortage of laboratory recording and broadcasting resources, satisfies the demand of multiple teachers to record lessons at the same time, and provides abundant resources for teachers to carry out preview experiments. Under the background of the continuous deepening of education and teaching reform, the upgrading of hardware conditions and teaching reform is also progressing.
