Puxi Grade 3: Interesting and Useful Recycling Experiments

March 9, 2023

In a recent science class, the third graders at Puxi campus learned about renewable and non-renewable resources. During the learning process, students deepened their understanding of the importance of the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

The students conducted a fun and useful science experiment in their class. They first tore used paper into small pieces and soaked them in water overnight. Then they mashed the soaked paper into a paste, spread it on a square of waxed paper, and let it dry. During the whole experiment process, the students showed a strong interest in learning, completed the experiment seriously, and finally made a lot of beautiful recycled paper.

Through this experiment, our students not only increased their knowledge, but also learned how to use resources and effectively recycle, so as to protect the environment, reduce pollution and promote sustainable development.
