Pudong Campus Grade 5: The Core Value of Uniqueness
On Feb.21st, our 5th graders attended a PB class with the theme of the uniqueness of the students here at SHSID Pudong campus. Through a video, students found out that even if a person comes across as ordinary, he/she still has a lot of strengths and specialties that make him or her unique. This video encouraged students to think more about themselves and what makes each of them unique. After a discussion, students listed things that made them distinct from others, such as their specialties, their favorite foods, different opinions and experiences, etc. Then they praised each other and held a brief sharing in front of the whole class. One student thought that his partner is good at solving math problem in many different ways. Another one mentioned that his partner is always active in the class. During this PB session, students have learned more about themselves and their friendships were also improved gradually.
We hope that all the students of SHSID can find their shining points of uniqueness and be more self-confident in their future life.
