G6 YD Classes: Sharing & Riddles
The light of spring is the prelude to the harmony of all things. After a brief period of separation, the students were reunited on a vibrant campus. On the afternoon of 16 February, G6 in SHSID Puxi campus conducted two unique YD lessons.
Many of our students had a happy and fulfilling winter break this year and they couldn't wait to communicate with others. In the first YD lesson, several students from each class made a PowerPoint ahead of time and shared their favorite stories from the holidays with the whole class. Some of them kept on reading to nourish their hearts and enrich their inner world. Some students actively participated in extra-curricular activities to showcase themselves on a broader stage. Others embarked on a journey to broaden their horizons.
At the beginning of the new semester, all grade 6 students were energetic and enthusiastic after their winter break and were led by their teachers to write down their New Year’s goals and wishes.
In the second YD lesson, each class worked in small groups to guess lantern festival riddles. The riddles, in both English and Chinese, were very interesting and kept the students entertained.
The atmosphere of the New Year is gone and spring has arrived at a perfect time! May the students embark on their new semester’s journey in the fullest spirit and set off again in their own glorious ways.
