Grade 3 Puxi: Thanksgiving Activities

November 30, 2022

Last Thursday was Thanksgiving Day. The third graders at Puxi campus learned the traditions and customs of Thanksgiving in the personal growth class, and fully realized the importance of gratitude in their lives.

The children made their own Thanksgiving turkey together in class. They wrote everything they are grateful for on the feathers of the turkey. Many children wrote about the help provided by their family members, teachers, classmates, friends, and other people around them. Some of them also expressed gratitude towards their own efforts and the kindness of strangers. Some children mentioned their favorite extracurricular activities, such as painting, origami, reading, football, basketball, skating and so on. Some foodies even mentioned foods that bring them happiness, such as hot pot, pizza, and burgers! There were also some children with a big heart, thanking our mother earth, the vast universe and the mysterious world of nature.

Thanks for everything that appears in our lives, and always be grateful, so that we can always walk with happiness.
