Becoming an "Egg Parent" with Responsibility and Love in Mind
Egg babies, here we come! The Grade One “star” activity -- "Protect Egg Babies" is here! Grade one students needed to become "egg parents" this week. They took good care of their "egg babies" so that they don't break and learned the importance of responsibility and care.
On Monday, each student carefully took over the "egg baby" from the teachers. From their egg nests, you can tell how much "egg parents" care about this upcoming egg baby. Some egg nests were covered with fluffy cotton; others use layers of tissues to make the nests as soft as possible. Some were warm and small homes, where the "egg baby" is covered with a soft quilt and wait for "dad and mom" to finish class and school; some were luxury villas, where the "egg baby" not only has his own bedroom, but also can sleep well in the room. It also had a living room and bathroom, where you can play freely. Our little "egg parents" not only gave their "egg babies" nice names, but were also afraid that their "egg babies" will be lonely. Therefore, they found good friends for them. "Egg baby" attended classes with their chicken friend and watched their "mom and dad" enjoy various activities. They also talked about stories in the ocean with the clay fish made by "dad and mom" in art class. The time waiting for "egg parents" had also become more interesting...
In a blink of an eye, school was over. "Egg dad and egg mom" took their cherished egg baby home on the school bus. The activities at home were even more exciting. "Egg parents" and "egg babies" read together. They told bedtime stories to “egg baby” and lulled it to sleep. "Egg baby" joined the dinner as part of the family. Games were also an essential evening activity. "Egg dad and egg mom" took "egg baby" to build Lego and drew pictures together. They had a great time. On weekends, they went to the supermarket and went camping together... In order to protect the safety of the "egg babies", the "egg parents" who are usually active, became gentle in everything they did. Of course, accidents also happened from time to time, and some “egg babies” broke. From the sad expressions of "egg parents" we can see how much they cherished their “egg babies” and how much they cherished this time together.
A week later, the teacher awarded certificates and prizes to the "egg parents" who successfully protected the eggs. They also used the Clips they learned in computer class to make videos to record their fond memories with "egg babies". On this Thursday, students show their work proudly.
During the past week, "parents" and their "egg babies" got along day and night inseparably. In the process of careful care, love and sense of responsibility also arose spontaneously. The children also felt how hard it was to be a parent, and they were able to respect life and respect their parents even more.
