Grade 11: A-Level Parents Meeting Held

In the evening of November 17, 2022, the parents meeting of the 11th Grade’s A-level class took place in Xianmian Building. Principal Ma Feng, Vice Principal Zhang Li, Ms. Xie Junyu, and several subject teachers attended this meeting.

First, Ms. Xie, the A-level homeroom teacher and math teacher, introduced the timeline of the upcoming A-level exams in January 2023. She also discussed the A-level students’ midterm and standardized test results and the A-level math curriculum. Afterward, other subject teachers introduced the students' progress in the first half of the semester, their expectations for the second half of the semester, and tips for the A-level studies.

Next, Vice Principal Zhang Li explained the expectations and requirements for students who aim high and introduced various application deadlines. She emphasized how parents should work with students to research their target university thoroughly.

Lastly, Principal Ma expressed how the school highly values the A-level course and shared the A-level exam results in the past school years. He emphasized the importance of hard working and suggested students find suitable, flexible, and sustainable study methods. Finally, he encouraged students to participate in various activities and enjoy SHSID campus life.

The parents meeting concluded with everyone attended having a clearer goal as well as the understanding of what is ahead of the Grade 11 A-level class.
