Grade 7 YD: Science Competition
During the last Youth Development session, Grade 7 invited the seniors of the 8th grade Science Academy to expand their scientific knowledge. Before the game, the seniors first introduced the Science Academy, which is a unique scientific research community of SHSID. Students were then divided into different teams to fight with each other on scientific questions by using the knowledge they have learned. Questions ranged from physics to astronomy, from famous terms to chemical equations. Everyone had done everything they could to win the first prize.
The questions of the game were divided into high to low scoring sections, with corresponding points awarded to the difficulty of the question. The questions were scored between 100-500 points. During the game, everyone rushed to choose the high scoring questions, ignoring the difficulty of the questions. The game was in full swing. Some groups had scores as high as 2000, while some groups were still struggling. After a fierce fight, the victory was obvious, and the winning group cheered with their teammates.
Win or lose, everyone involved gained new knowledge and enthusiasm for science!
