The "Maesthetics" Exhibition Resumed

September 20, 2022

Last semester, the High School Math Department initiated the π day exhibition themed “Maesthetics” in collaboration with the Art Department and aimed at inspiring students to take art as a means to express their understanding of and love for mathematics. The “Maesthetics” exhibition, planned and prepared since the beginning of last semester, includes a collection of excellent math project artworks. It is a pity that the opening of this exhibition was paused due to citywide offline class suspension. This semester, with the return of offline class, the “Maesthetics” exhibition is finally on! The math teachers invited teachers from other departments to appreciate these artworks together and interpreted the math elements in these artworks with enthusiasm. There was a lot of discussion on math knowledge and recognition for students’ creativity on the scene. Students also went to the exhibition in groups during the break. The “Maesthetics” exhibition is on until the end of September; feel free to go and enjoy the artistic beauty of math!
