Puxi Campus Grade 1: New Students Are Coming! Dreams To Be Built!
After the sweltering heat, the end of summer brings a cool breeze, which also brought in our grade one students!
"Wow, the campus is so big!" "Wow, the trees here are hundreds of years old, right?" "Ah! The little monster on the door of the primary building is so cute!" "Ah! Colorful balloons and big fruits. It's so beautiful!" The little cute G1 students held the hands of their parents and entered the primary building, with curiosity and joy along the way.
The new students came to the corridor of the first grade, just like opening any door of Doraemon. Some felt like stepping into a small garden, some felt like stepping into a mini zoo, some entered the mysterious space as if taking a spaceship, and some received the "Hogwarts Admission Notice", preparing to sign up for their school!
With the help of their parents, the G1 students neatly organized their cubby and visited their classrooms. Some were attracted by the book corner, dazzled by the wide variety of books, and had no idea which book to start with. Some studied the timetable, as if to cheer for their first-grade study life. The Calm-Down Corner is attractive, and the small tent provides them with their own space. Students can follow the guidance of the poster and learn their own emotion. Other students were looking at the job list and have begun to think about the class job they want to take. There are also various rule posters and Growth Mindset posters in the classroom. A life as independent learners and qualified global citizens is beckoning to them!
The bell was ringing. Grade 1 students took their seats and waved goodbye to their parents. The kind and gentle first-grade teachers introduced themselves to the new young boys and girls. The ice-breaking activity allowed children to break the boundaries between each other through games and quickly accept each other as classmates. Learning the rules and practicing, lining up to practice, and organizing their schoolbags encouraged them to have the awareness and pride of being a real primary school student!
Challenges came one after another. G1 students were going to take the school bus home independently for the first time with the help of their teachers and Bus Ayi. While cheering for the children, the teachers silently guarded their safety with practical actions. The teacher escorted new students to their respective school bus points. After completing a series of temperature measurement and verification work carefully, School bus Ayi helped new students with schoolbags and sent them to the school bus.
Grade 1 is here, and the new school year sets sail! We hope that the freshmen who are full of curiosity and anticipation will grow up happily and gain hope in the big SHSID family!
