High School Chinese Department: Story China II

Following the Story China activity last semester, the Chinese group held an activity of introducing Chinese celebrities this semester. In this activity, the teachers first sorted out a group of excellent Chinese people, and then the students told the story about these Chinese celebrities.

For example, a student told the story of Liu Xiang. In her telling the students know how Liu Xiang went up and down in his whole career. From her story, the students can also feel that the road of life is very long. Whether it is in good or bad times, never forget to live hard and full of hope.

Some students choose Zheng He as their topic. They introduced Zheng He's voyages to the west. And also they shared the background and historical value of the story. Through the students' narration, the originally normal words in the book have become familiar and cordial.

Some students said that it was a special experience to listen to their familiar classmates talk about people in history. Some students also felt they got a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and the Chinese people now.
