Share Fun Online—Grade 7 Online Sports Challenge and Singing/Dancing Competition
During the past two weeks, the teachers in Grade 7 organized a unique online sports challenge competition and a singing and dancing competition in the form of digital interaction, to enrich students’ life at home. Teachers took the lead in recording videos and actively guided students to participate in the challenges. Supporting students’ cultural and sports activities in their spare time to keep themselves in a mood has received good response.
The teachers of grade 7 actively participated in sports events, showing their lively spirits. Some teachers challenged jumping rope 400 times in 2 minutes, played Jianzi (shuttlecock) and get dozens of kicks without dropping it, and competed speed walking with others... The teachers’ sports videos, accompanied by dynamic music, are full of energy and inspiring. The participation among students was set off, and they uploaded videos in response to the challenges, showing their youthful vitality. The teachers were delighted to see that the students were willing to take on these challenges and enjoy sports.
At the same time, the teachers showed various talents in front of the screen, singing, playing guitar, dancing, and so on, with their excited faces and feelings expressed in music. However, the highlight of the activity is the fantastic performances brought by students; energetic dances and melodious songs. It was very thrilling for the students to enjoy the unforgettable time together.
The online activity reduced the distance between teachers and students, inspired students’ persistent drive and enthusiasm for sports, and reflected teachers’ humanistic care. In the special period of the current pandemic, we hope that our students will still stay happy and healthy while studying at home and keep a positive attitude towards the future.
