Grade 7: New Year Gift Exchange and Craft Paper Load-Bearing Challenge

January 5, 2022

On December 30th, Grade 7 prepared unforgettable happiness for the students. In the first YD class, every class in Grade 7 held a new year party, and everyone formed a circle to exchange New Year gifts. The process of exchanging gifts is determined by drawing lots. Everyone can get a small note with a gift number written on it and then find the corresponding gift according to the number on the gift. Each student received a little surprise from their classmates. Some students made excellent 2021 review videos, making everyone sigh with time. We need to cherish the good time with our classmates and teachers.

In the following YD class, the 7th grade organized another competition. The rule of the competition is that you can lift several boxes of drinks with craft paper and a stick within five minutes, and you can’t touch kraft paper. You should stick to more than 15 seconds each time, up to four boxes of drinks. Each class is trying to think about using the least time to keep balance and keep the craft paper from tearing. Class 1, class 2, class 3, class 6, and class 8 had an excellent idea at the beginning. They used craft paper as a base and put wooden sticks on it to support drinks. This idea was also quite successful. They successfully passed the competition. These classes put three to four boxes of drinks. Some classes are at a loss. When the last time is slowly consumed, they are still thinking about how to lift these boxes of drinks. The critical moment is to roll up your sleeves and try it directly.

This year’s New Year party has left precious memories, gifts, joy and a sense of achievement in winning the game.
