Highlighted Activities of SciAcademy

SciAcademy, which started in 2017, is made up of a group of students who show a great interest in science and are curious about life. Club members always ask interesting yet weird science questions. Throughout the past four years, the club has been focusing on producing interesting and informative science videos, exploring psychology, biology, geography, and many more areas. The topics are diverse in their origins, ranging from science in our daily lives to the extremes of the human mind. The club expands people’s interest in science and spreads knowledge through videos, lectures, and magazines.

SciAcademy’s videos are posted on social media platforms such as Bilibili and their official WeChat account. The impact is far-reaching: the videos have more than 200,000 views and over 12,000 likes on Bilibili, and audiences always actively comment and discuss the science questions. Through these platforms, SciAcademy built a community where people are free to acquire and share knowledge, cultivating interest in the process.

To reach out to more of an audience in 2021, SciAcademy started many new projects including magazine and podcast production. In the future, the club would like to have more interactions with the audience to spark more people’s interest in science. In the future, along with expanding its way of exploring and spreading science, the club will also insist on progressing towards its very first goal. The club will always believe that science is not only a subject but is a way of thinking in every inch of life—it's the wondering of “Why this?” when you see something new.
