Puxi Campus Grade 1: Chinese Project

First-grade students did the first Chinese project in December. Students chose a character from their names and used pictures to show the Chinese character. After the teachers introduced the topic to everyone, the students couldn’t wait to start creating!

Before December 16, the students handed in their paintings to the teachers. Look at these works which are full of colors and creativity. Some students have the word “Yao” in their names, so she designed a beautiful jade; some students design the “Qing” in their names in the big sun, full of Sunlight! Some students even paint with ink and wash. It vividly embodies the picturesque Chinese characters! On December 20, each student showed their works in front of the class and confidently introduced the origin of their names. The classmates who were introduced spoke very well, and the audience below listened carefully. The teachers displayed these works in the hall for all the teachers and students to appreciate. This is a meaningful subject activity!
