Grade 8: Financial Course

On the afternoon of November 25, Ms. Chen, National Senior financial planner, came to our school’s Zhongxing building library and opened a lively and interesting financial capability lecture for Grade 8 students. Considering a large number of applicants, to popularize scientific financial quotient knowledge on a wider scale, this course is of the same type as the first financial course held days before.

In class, Ms. Chen introduced the basic concepts of financial capability and how to obtain wealth. She also designed some games to engage students. The first game is to act out to guess phrases related to financial capability. The second game is to stimulate investment. Each group got an initial investment of one million and made a certain investment after group discussion. In the end, some groups obtained three times the return of the investment, but others lost their money. This financial quotient lecture was very popular. In just one and a half hours, the students understood the preliminary concepts and had a new understanding of how to invest and the importance of financial capability.
