Lingang Campus: The Sports Week
What a busy and colorful Sports Week! On the 11th of October, all children gathered together in the indoor gym and engaged in a friendly sporting competition. They held strong despite the challenge and enjoyed the exertion! In the P.E. class of October 12th, there was a fierce Sponge Relay race played between Class 1(1) and 1(2)! Students started from their team’s starting water bucket, dunked the sponge in, ran across the field, and squeezed all the water into their team’s empty finish bucket. Once everyone in the class had a turn, the teachers measured which class bucket had more water inside. On October 13th, they played with hula hoops as a whole class. Students held hands and stood in a circle, then passed the hula hoops over their bodies, all the way around to the first person without letting go of their classmates’ hands. After constant pratice, they finished it quicker and showed better teamwork. In the afternoon of October 14th, all students and teachers assembled in the lobby and performed dances as a fantastic flash mob, which attracted many to watch! During the last class of the day, there was a special assembly held to present awards to those who excelled in the Sports Meet! The Sports Week concluded successfully but the spirit continues! We hope that all students will keep running until the very last second on the learning track!
