Lingang Campus: The Principal of SHS Mr. Feng Visits Lingang Campus

On September 2nd, Mr. Feng Zhigang, the principal of Shanghai High School (SHS), Mr. Liu Lian, SHSID middle and primary school principal, Mr. Liu Maoxiang, the director of SHS School Affairs Office, Mr. Zhu Guanhua, the director of SHS General Affairs Office, Ms. Liu Fang, SHSID middle and primary school vice principal, and a group of teachers visited the Lingang campus, which is the new addition of Shanghai High School International Division. Accompanied by Mr. Xu Yuecan, the principal of East Shanghai High School (ESHS), Ms. Liu Yingzi, ESHS Party Branch Secretary, and Ms. Fu Bing, the director of Lingang campus, they visited the brand-new teaching building of the primary school, outdoor play areas, music classrooms, and so on.

Even on the second day of the new school year, everything in terms of teaching and learning is in its perfect order at Lingang campus. With the help of Chinese and foreign teachers, the first grade children are gradually adapting to the new environment and preparing to start their colorful primary school life at SHSID.

Mr. Feng continued with a cordial conversation with Chinese and foreign teachers where he also listened to their ideas about the new teaching environment. He encouraged teachers to take advantage of the environmental surroundings, to organize and develop a variety of educational and teaching activities so that every student can expand their horizons, tap into their potential, develop their personalities and talents in a pleasant learning environment, and grow into independent learners with innovative spirits and cooperative ability.

SHSID Lingang campus is located inside of East Shanghai High School, which was newly launched to facilitate the construction of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The Lingang campus not only inherits the educational tradition and philosophy of SHSID, but also permeates the campus culture and the spirit of Shanghai High School, to promote the first-class and high-quality international education with world influence in Shanghai.
