Grade 11: Class Sports Activities
In CAS class on the afternoon of April 7, Grade 11 students competed in several intense sports activities. In both the individual class activities "Pony Crossing the River" and "Basketball Ice Cream," and the grade-scale competition of tug-of-war, the participants from each class were eager and engaged.
The "Pony Crossing" game required eight students from each class to relay two hula hoops from one end to the other. This activity tested the balance of the students and their skills and teamwork when walking in the hoops.
The "Basketball Ice Cream" game that occurred on the other side of the building assessed students' teamwork and passing skills. In this game, each of the eight students needed to hold a field cone, and together, they would pass a basketball from one cone to another. For both activities, the team that took the shortest amount of time to complete the task won.
The tug-of-war competitions were played in the form of knockouts. After several rounds of competition, Class 8 ultimately came out on top.
It was very obvious that students from each class had a great time this afternoon.
